Pricing and insurance

Investing in your nervous system

I work with adults and teens sixteen and older through secure telehealth. My goal is to make the money conversation clear and simple so you know what to expect before we meet.

This page explains my private pay rate, the insurance plans I take, how coverage works by state, and how reduced fee options work through Open Path Collective.

Standard session rate

Individual therapy sessions are 200 dollars for a 50 minute telehealth appointment. This rate applies to most ongoing sessions and includes treatment planning, coordination with your care team when needed, and the preparation work that happens between sessions.

I do not currently offer shorter sessions or free consultation calls. If you are unsure whether I am the right fit, you can still reach out and share a little about what you are looking for, and we can decide together.

Who I can see

I provide online therapy for adults and teens sixteen and older who live in Hawaii, Arizona, Washington, North Carolina, and South Carolina, in line with my social work licenses and state regulations.

Using insurance

In Hawaii, I am in network with several plans through my telehealth practice. Coverage and benefits can look very different from one plan to another, so it is important to confirm your details before we begin.

Hawaii plans I currently accept

At this time I accept AlohaCare, HMSA, HMSA Quest, and Ohana in Hawaii. Your copay or coinsurance will depend on your specific plan and mental health benefits.

Insurance in other states

For clients in Arizona, Washington, North Carolina, and South Carolina, private pay is often the primary option. Coverage may change over time, so if you live in one of these states and want to ask about current insurance options, you are welcome to contact me.

Before our first session you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask for your outpatient mental health benefits for telehealth. You can also share your information through my client portal so I can help clarify what your plan covers.

Reduced fee options through Open Path Collective

I reserve a limited number of reduced fee slots through Open Path Collective for clients who meet their financial criteria and are not able to use insurance. These spots are intended for people who would not otherwise be able to access therapy at my standard rate.

Because these appointments are limited, availability can change based on my caseload. If you are interested in working together through Open Path, you can check my profile there or mention Open Path when you reach out. If there is not an opening, I can let you know and you are welcome to check back at a later time.

Using Open Path does not change the quality of care you receive. It is simply a different payment route for eligible clients.

Payment methods

Payments are handled through my secure client portal. I accept debit and credit cards. Payment is typically processed on the day of your session once attendance has been confirmed.

Cancellations

I ask for at least twenty four hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged a fee. We will go over the full policy when you complete intake paperwork so you know exactly how it works.

A quick note about crisis and emergencies

My practice is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or having a life threatening emergency, please call 911, 988, or your local crisis line, or go to the nearest emergency room before reaching out to schedule with me.

Ready to talk about next steps

You do not need the perfect script or a polished story. If your nervous system is tired and something on this site feels like it fits you, that is enough to reach out. We can talk through your options and see what works for your situation.

I review every message myself and will let you know if it feels like a good fit or help you find next steps.
